Located on Highway 95 in Bullhead City ½ mile north of the Laughlin Bridge at Davis Camp. It has street access you do not have to enter Davis Camp. The Colorado River Historical Society, a nonprofit organization, runs the museum.
Displays, artifacts and memorabilia bring the area’s past to life. In the late 1920’s or early 30’s the first Bullhead City post office, which also served as a general store was brought in from Oatman. You will also see authentic mining paraphernalia which surrounds the replica of the old Katherine Gold Mine shaft entrance.
A model railway, Mojave Tribe Artifacts, photos and maps from today and yesterday, minerals and gemstone plus a fossilized nautilus snail that dates back 240 million years are a few of their exhibits that make it certainly worth a visit.
The museum is offically closed during the summer months but sometimes they will open for by appointment. Since it is run by volunteers, it is best to call before going there to make sure it will be open 928-754-3339.
