Mohave Country Property Tax period is based on a calendar year from January 1st to December 31st. They are paid twice a year.
The first payment is due on March 1st and late on May 1st. This covers the last 1/2 of the previous year.
The second payment is due on October 1st and late November 1st, This covers the first 1/2 of the current year.
Property taxes are based on assessed value. A Notice Of Value is sent to you annually no later than March1st. There are processes in which you can contest that value if you do not agree.
