Arizona Veterans Memorial - The Arizona Veterans Memorial Park Bullhead City is picturesque spot on the Colorado River. It is dedicated to the over 3,000 Arizona men and women who gave their life while serving our country. In June 2009 Frontier Communications announced financial support for the Medal of Honor Memorial eternal flame. There is a tribute to the destruction of the battleship U.S.S. Arizona that marked the United States entry in World War II. The Arizona Firefighters that went to New York City after 9/11 are also honored. Bowling - There is one bowling center in the area. It is located at the Riverside Resort Casino on the second floor of the south tower. They have 34-lanes with Brunswick Pinsetters and seating. Many tournaments are held here. For information call 888-590-BOWL

Hiking and Nature Walks - As with any activity in the desert, where the temperatures can get very warm, care should be taken and professional advise should be sought. Make certain you take plenty of water with you, wear the appropriate clothing, know your limits and let someone know where you are going and when you expect to be back.
